Kickstarter coming to the UK on Halloween

Sure, we’ve been able to buy things on there for a while (and I’ve backed 8 funded projects so far), but Kickstarter recently announced that UK-based groups are going to be able to use the site for funding campaigns from October 31st.

Since this has been on the front page of their site for me for months, I thought that they already could:

Still, the site’s going to be streamlining the shipping pricing process and it will be nice not to have to add $10 to so many pledges for international shipping (if the Brits make anything I want, anyway). If you’ve got any ideas that you want to bring to life, Kickstarter is accepting submissions now to go live on the 31st.
