As I find myself once again with a lot of time on my hands and without much structure to my days, I think it fitting that I return to posting here, as it was from this position that I started this site nearly two years ago. A lot has changed since then: I’ve moved into London, got some new gadgets (and some watches, oh my, the watches) and have witnessed a lot of change in the tech industry. Expect to see posts on all of those topics in the coming days and weeks.
I’m also going to start a segment on the site called “Gainfully Unemployed” charting my efforts to stay interested, interesting and productive while in the city. It won’t chronicle the job hunt so much as it will cover living a life of relative leisure in London, and hopefully you’ll pick up some interesting things to do (or at the very least get to live vicariously through me while you’re stuck in the office).
Speaking of job hunting, if you’re on the lookout for a bright, versatile, problem-solving and technologically savvy graduate with a couple of years’ good but fairly non-specific professional experience for a junior or entry-level role, do take a look at my LinkedIn and get in touch if you know of anything suitable.
Right – time to get to work on the first substantive post of the new AQ era. Until then!
